GSwE2009

Graduate Software Engineering 2009 (GSwE2009) is a set of guidelines for curricula supporting graduate degree programs in software engineering.  The curriculum was developed by an international team over over 40 professionals in software engineering education and industry.  Earlier versions of GSwE2009 (formerly GSwERC) were reviewed by over 150 reviewers worldwide.

GSwE2009 has 3 components:

1. Recommendations--This is the main body of GSwE2009. It contains all the guidelines and recommendations on appropriate structure and content for a graduate program in software engineering.  
2. Comparisons--This is a supplementary document which compares current software engineering programs to the recommendations in GSwE2009.  This document is scheduled to be released in October 2009.
3. Implementation--This is a supplementary document which discusses possible challenges to implementation of GSwE2009 and potential solutions for addressing those challenges.  This document is scheduled to be released in October 2009.
