"The Curriculum Guidelines for Graduate Degree Programs in Software Engineering represent a significant leap forward by providing clear, comprehensive, and well-written guidelines to curriculum development in software engineering. This document will provide a template to all those who wish to create curriculum guidelines in other areas of computer science. I am certain that GSwE2009 will turn out to be a very significant step in the progress of computer science education.
