  • "The Current State of Software Engineering Masters Degree Programs", by Arthur Pyster, Richard Turner, Devanandham Henry, Kahina Lasfer, and Lawrence Bernstein, presents the findings of a survey conducted by the EST on the current status of SwE Masters degree programs in the U.S.  This paper was presented at the 21st IEEE-CS Conference on Software Engineering Education and Training (CSEET) in April 2008.

Panels

  • "GSwE2009:  A New Set of Guidelines for Graduate Software Engineering Education".  Panel members:  Mark Ardis, Shawn Bohner, Dick Fairley, Massood Towhidnejad, Art Pyster.  A new set of curriculum guidelines for graduate software engineering education has recently been published. In this panel those guidelines and two supporting companion reports were presented to faculty interested in creating new programs or improving existing programs. Faculty who attended the panel learned how to use the recommended curriculum architecture to customize their programs to meet their needs.
